A gift for Purple: Purple’s Kpop playlist

A huge thank you to Purple for supporting this project! Purple is new to the blogging scene, and I am loving her domain name (dearsoju). You can find her at My Purple Life. I sense an ARMY.

Stand By Me – SHINee

Purple is a fan of K dramas. So I’ll start the playlist by dropping a couple of my favorite soundtracks. Stand By Me is one of my favorites from the Korean adaptation of Boys Over Flowers. It’s an oldie but a goodie.

I didn’t enjoy the Korean version as much as I did the Japanese version, but the show was my first introduction to Lee Min Ho. I’ve been a fan of his since.

This track is from the Korean drama, Goblin, that took the world by storm when it came out. I didn’t enjoy it as much, but this drama has some of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard. This one is one of them.

I just noticed that this song is sung by the performance team of SEVENTEEN. Wow. All this time, I thought it was a full group release.

Regarding love and relationships, Purple mentioned that these feelings are normal in high school but don’t let it hinder your studies. I’ve never agreed with anything more.

I interpreted the lyrics to mean that you’re constantly missing or thinking about someone 24/7, something common when you have a crush on someone or after a breakup.

Error – VIXX

What a throwback.

Purple mentioned that she likes to code and learning computer languages. This MV has one of the most futuristic/sci-fi vibes I’ve seen.

Not Today – BTS

Let’s end the playlist with motivational power. Not Today talks about the constant drive to succeed and not giving up. At least not today.

Purple mentioned that she will work hard to build the career she dreams of. BTS’s music is the right motivation that anyone needs when hustling.

The queue is now empty, which means I’ll post my final thoughts on this project next week.

Anyway, I hope you found a song you enjoy, Purple~
