Character Kpop Playlist – Hazuki Nagisa

Nagisa is one of the major characters from Free!, an anime series that focuses on swimming. For people not familiar with the anime, Nagisa is happy-go-lucky, carefree, and just sunshine in a human. But he’s also childish and acts on his feelings often. Still, he’s determined and works hard.

Anyway, if Nagisa had a K-pop playlist, I think these songs would definitely be on it.

  • Happy Happy – TWICE

This is the first song that came to mind when I thought of Nagisa. It’s fun, bright, and happy. I’m almost certain that he would be a TWICE fan.

I think Sana would be his bias.

  • Boy With Luv – BTS

Like Happy Happy, Boy With Luv is also filled with bright colours. The chorus is catchy and gets stuck in your head after a few listens.

I think V would be his bias.

  • Baby – ASTRO

This song has such a refreshing and youthful vibe. It’s also incredibly catchy. Side note: This is one of my favourite songs by ASTRO.

I think Nagisa wouldn’t be able to pick a favourite for this one. But I mean, Cha Eun Woo though.

  • Red Flavor – Red Velvet

I think Nagisa would be a huge Twice and Red Velvet fanboy. And what song would be better than Red Flavor.

This song came out three years ago, but I don’t think I’ve heard a better song that best captures the essence of summer.

I think Nagisa would love Yeri or Irene.

  • Very Very Very – IOI

When this song came out, I remember it was everywhere. I didn’t know who sang it or where it came from, but after hearing it once, the chorus got stuck in my head. And I randomly sang the chorus from time to time.

I think Nagisa would be a huge Somi fan.

And… That’s It!

I think Nagisa would be a huge fan of girl groups in Kpop, especially groups like Twice, Red Velvet, and IZ*ONE.

Anyway, thanks for reading!
