Using Cover Art to Guess Anime Synopses: Told Through Haikus

I’ve never watched these animes, but I’ll tell you what (I think) they’re about just from their cover art. If you saw any of these, let me know how far off I was. Told through haikus. Enjoy!

The God of High School

A young teenager

fights his powerful classmates

to get to the top

Kanojo, Okarishimasu

A classic harem

where a boy dates different girls

but has one waifu

Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!

A playful woman

joins a normal family

and causes chaos

(Why do I have a feeling this is an ecchi anime?)

Kami no Tou (Tower of God)

A group of people

climbs a tower to defeat

the evil on top

(This one gives me major RPG vibes.)

Darwin’s Game

A group of people

have no choice to play a game

or else the world ends

(This one looks good. I might try it one day.)

  1. God of High School (the only one I’ve watched more than one episode of): Those aren’t his classmates. I dunno why they call the tournament “god of high school”, but “god of society” sounds… kinda edgy and very narcisstic.
